Elle Varner rings in the New Year at Radio City wearing Patricia Field

Our lil’ love bug, and soulful R&B singer/songwriter, Elle Varner performed a concert at Radio City Music Hall on New Years Eve with rapper, Nas.  I have to say, the two made quite the eye-popping pair.  Nas performed in a beautiful creamy white and black tuxedo, but Elle freaking shut the house down in a stunning, gemstone-embroidered Jovani mini-dress from Patricia Field.

Nas performed numbers like ‘Daughters’, ‘Cry Baby’, and ‘Cherry Wine’, and Elle sang her hit song of the year, ‘Refill’, and gave a heartfelt rendition of Frank Ocean’s ‘Thinkin’ Bout You’.

In the music video for her debut single, ‘Only Wanna Give it To You’ (feat. J Cole), which dropped last year, Elle also turned heads in a handmade, African print Teacup mini-dress designed by Moto for Patricia Field.

With the Grammy nominations right around the corner, and several hit songs under her belt, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for our favorite soul sister.

The House of Field loves you, Elle Varner!

MADONNA STOLE OUR VOGUE HATS!!

During Madonna’s performance of her 2012 World Tour to promote her latest CD, MDNA at Madison Square Garden this past year, one of our spies discovered……..

This.

She is selling exact replicas of our VOGUE hat as part of her tour merchandise!!!!

Ok, we don’t really have spies, you guys.

Our own Patricia Field stylist, Hiraku, designed the snap back and we sell it as a t-shirt, headband and a beanie as well.  They’ve been going like hotcakes here at the store and have become a staple of the Patricia Field brand this year.  We get requests to send them to clients everywhere worldwide and people ask for them by name when they come into the store…

I don’t really have anything else to say but…

Madonna is a thief! Do you really need an extra few thousand dollars? Shame, shame for stealing from those that inspire you!

There, I said it.

I don’t know, what do you guys think?  Are we right to be offended by this, or should we just forget about it and move on?
